Creepies are a group of creatures in HorrorVale, it is a term used to describe any mysterious and highly dangerous monster.

General Information

It is stated that Creepies have appeared only recently in HorrorVale and the surrounding area. Due to their general hostility towards other monsters they have been deemed a threat and as a result Mayor Finkleheim has closed the gates to HorrorVale. Despite this, the player will encounter several Creepies throughout the demo who have managed to make it into the city.

Trivia

  • Creepies are mostly based off of internet horror as opposed to the folktale and natural horror of Spookies, and video game monsters of Scaries.
  • When defeated, Creepies emit a sound reminiscent of a dial up tone, and disintegrate leaving a brief flash of binary 1's and 0's.
